Create macros DEFAULT_CLASS_VAR and DEFAULT_CLASS_VAR_SIMPLE, analagous to DEFAULT_CLASS and DEFAULT_CLASS_SIMPLE, which declare the `operator new`. Also, get rid of the seemingly useless +1s for sizes.
