React 0.12 upgrade

Implement backend API to Angular.

- Remove obsolete @jsx annotations
- Rename renderComponent -> render
- Use event.preventDefault instead of returning false

i.e. = that is, e.g. = for example

I looked through the changelog and couldn't find any changes that were relevant
to us. If you can think of any, please open a PR!
