Updated to reflect the change to TeX.

This directory contains the source to the Python documentation. This directory contains the LaTeX source to the Python documentation.
The documentation is not all finished, but good enough to get you some

The following are the important latex source files:
There are four documents and a macro file:
tut.tex tutorial
macros.ms macros .so'ed by the documents mod.tex library reference
tut.ms informal tutorial They both read the style option file "myformat.sty".
mod.ms description of standard modules
ref.ms Python language reference manual (embryonic) You can use the Makefile to format, preview and print the documents.
paper.ms conference paper about Python (embryonic) Type "make tut" or "make mod" to preview either document with xdvi.
Type "make print" to print them both (this only works if your print

To typeset one of the documents on the default Postscript printer, chdir Type "make clean" to get rid of all the intermediate files produced by

You can just as well ignore the Makefile; all you really need is:
pstroff -ms file.ms latex tut
latex tut
When typesetting all documents, issue a separate command for each. dvips tut | lpr
and similar for the "mod" document.
You can also use the Makefile, at your own risk.
