The current implementation of the `__rt_sigaction` reference computed an absolute offset relative to the mapped base of the VDSO. While this can be handled in the medlow model, the medany model cannot handle this as it is meant to be position independent. The current implementation relied on the BFD linker relaxing the PC-relative relocation into an absolute relocation as it was a near-zero address allowing it to be referenced relative to `zero`. We now extract the offsets and create a generated header allowing the build with LLVM and lld to succeed as we no longer depend on the linker rewriting address references near zero. This change was largely modelled after the ARM64 target which does something similar. Select ARCH_HAS_UBSAN_SANITIZE_ALL in order to allow the user to enable CONFIG_UBSAN_SANITIZE_ALL and instrument the entire kernel for ubsan checks. VDSO is excluded because its build doesn't include the __ubsan_handle_*() functions from lib/ubsan.c, and the VDSO has no sane way to report errors even if it has definitions of these functions. RISCV uses a global variable pfn_base for page/pfn translation. But this is a common name and will be used elsewhere. In those cases, the page-pfn macros which refer to this name will be referred to the local/input variable instead. (such as in vfio_pin_pages_remote). This make everything wrong. The code that handles the early fdt mapping is hard to read and does not create the same mapping size depending on the kernel: - for 64-bit, 2 PMD entries are used which amounts to a 4MB mapping - for 32-bit, 2 PGDIR entries are used which amounts to a 8MB mapping So keep using 2 PMD entries for 64-bit and use only one PGD entry for 32-bit needed to cover 4MB. Move that into a new function called create_fdt_early_page_table which, using the same naming as create_kernel_page_table. va_kernel_pa_offset was only used for 64-bit as the kernel mapping lies in the linear mapping for 32-bit kernel and then only the offset between the PAGE_OFFSET and the kernel load address is needed. But this distinction complexifies the code with #ifdefs and especially with a separate definition of the address conversions macros. The kernel recovers in due course from missing Mlocked pages: but there was no point in calling page_mlock() (formerly known as try_to_munlock()) on a THP, because nothing got done even when it was found to be mapped in another VM_LOCKED vma. It's true that we need to be careful: Mlocked accounting of pte-mapped THPs is too difficult (so consistently avoided); but Mlocked accounting of only-pmd-mapped THPs is supposed to work, even when multiple mappings are mlocked and munlocked or munmapped. Refine the tests. There is already a VM_BUG_ON_PAGE(PageDoubleMap) in page_mlock(), so page_mlock_one() does not even have to worry about that complication. (I said the kernel recovers: but would page reclaim be likely to split THP before rediscovering that it's VM_LOCKED? Parallel developments in mm/rmap.c have left behind some out-of-date comments: try_to_migrate_one() also accepts TTU_SYNC (already commented in try_to_migrate() itself), and try_to_migrate() returns nothing at all. TTU_SPLIT_FREEZE has just been deleted, so reword the comment about it in mm/huge_memory.c; and TTU_IGNORE_ACCESS was removed in 5.11, so delete the "recently referenced" comment from try_to_unmap_one() (once upon a time the comment was near the removed codeblock, but they drifted apart). Commit dbbee9d5 ("mm/page_alloc: convert per-cpu list protection to local_lock") folded in a workaround patch for pahole that was unable to deal with zero-sized percpu structures. A superior workaround is achieved with commit a0b8200d ("kbuild: skip per-CPU BTF generation for pahole v1.18-v1.21"). This patch reverts the dummy field and the pahole version check.
