Linux kernel

There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.

commit 80982c7e upstream. Some ioctls via OSS sequencer API may race and lead to UAF when the port create and delete are performed concurrently, as spotted by a couple of syzkaller cases. This patch is an attempt to address it by serializing the ioctls with the existing register_mutex. Basically OSS sequencer API is an obsoleted interface and was designed without much consideration of the concurrency. There are very few applications with it, and the concurrent performance isn't asked, hence this "big hammer" approach should be good enough.
