This reverts commit e8dcec112452e0c3c8ca1a9520e6101cd98fe2a5
to include the rails injection again. This will be removed
in a follow-up MR.

This also fixes some linter complaints.

Since there are no feature changes, most of this is just making sure
that the components are set up correctly in the tests.

Since the pipeline editor queries the commit sha and no longer
manages this data in the cache, the commit sha needs to be passed
down to the children components as props. This also removes instances
of writing to the cache.
